Hi 8 -Analogue Camcorder Tapes
Problem? Has your old Hi 8 camcorder died and you now have no way of salvaging all those tapes full of memories and then viewing the finished article on your tv?
No Problem! Send the tapes to us. We will transfer them to DVD or Blu Ray disc, so you may watch them at your leisure.
The basic duplication will be a straight transfer of your recording on to your chosen finished movie media. We can also supply you with a professionally finished movie, by editing, applying transitions, titles and end credits. This will cut out all the unwanted portions of your movie, make it flow from beginning to end and have useful information supplied for you to remember when and where it was shot. If you choose to have the movie on DVD, then we can also have a menu and chapter points for you, just as commercially bought DVD's do.

Hi 8 Tapes supplied must have been recorded in Slow Play (SP). We cannot guarantee to be able to produce a movie shot in Long Play (LP), as the quality of recording is much lower, and proper playback can be dependant on the model of camcorder used. We will endeavour to produce a movie, but it is best you contact us first for more advice.
If you have still got your Hi 8 camcorder we will also provide advice on how to best shoot your movie, if you wish to use us after your event for editing and DVD production and want help first on how to best prepare for the event, wedding holiday etc.
